Like many dogs, Gia likes to roll in the grass.

First picture we saw her—the profile pic from Petfinder.

I love when she lays her head down on pillows like a person.
We like to let her choose her treat.

Sometimes she is a lapdog.

Gia sometimes snaps or lunges. She’s gotten better with training but still wears a muzzle at the vet.
She is usually very demure on walks, but goes nuts at the sight of sand.

She likes to look outside when it’s raining.
Sometimes I take gia to the park to toss handfuls of kibble for her to find. I also hide kibble around the apartment. I originally hoped this would help her get out her scavenging energy (and she’d then stop looking for chicken bones and other garbage on our walks) but unfortunately it seems to have only improved her skill. Still fun though!

Another of Gia’s passions is tearing sticks apart.

If she seems to be hiding her face from the light I sometimes put an eyemask on her. She usually leaves it on for a while 🤷🏻

In the field.

Now we’re both in the field.
Gia loves to destroy things, so sometimes we entertain her by throwing some treats into a cardboard box, taping it up, and letting her rip it apart. Luckily she does not usually get her head stuck in the box lol

Here we are, getting stuff done.

Nothing like a hot day in the grass!
